Q: Can you add VDC aftermarket to a basemodel 350z?
It is hard to find a good 2nd hand ‘track’(may be called ‘enthusiast’ in your country) model 350z, I want it for the Vehicle Dynamic Control. If its possible, how much would it cost to add?
I am assuming it may be cheaper to transplant it from a written off track model.

A: Different Body wiring harness Yaw rate G sensor on the drive tunnel. different dash harness sprial cable with steering angle sensor different anti lock brake unit. Engine compartment harness to run those extra 4 or 5 wires to the ABS. And dash VDC off switch. Most of the Z owners with track experence want the VDC removed because of its intrusiveness. Bult in equiptment will be hard to add. Good luck

Q: How much would it cost to wire an AUX port into a 2008 350Z?
I just purchased a 2008 Nissan 350Z, and I was wondering if anyone knew how much it would cost to wire an AUX port into it, since it doesn’t have one (or an iPod port). I know that you can buy those adapters for the cigarette lighter port, but I want an AUX port.

As in if I wanted to purchase some coil-overs for a G35 could I purchase ones made for the 350Z and have them work? It sounds like a stupid question but everywhere online the parts are sold together so I can’t tell!

A 2001 BMW M3 and a 2003, 2004, and 2007 350z/Nismo Z

The Nissan is better in many ways.
More fun to drive, sportier, looks better, more reliable, cheaper parts for aftermarket tuning or replacement, better on gas.

The M3 is a bit faster, but only a bit. Not nearly worth the extra money.

Q: How many miles can you get on a 03 or 04 350z before it dies?
I would like to buy a 2003 or 2004 nissan 350z and i was wondering how many miles can i get on it before the engine dies?

A: Most 17 to 21 year old drivers rev higher drive faster and cannot spend the necessary money every time the motor needs an air filter or oil change. Sports cars are expensive brakes and tires every year or so. High insurance rates. Most Nissan Motors are best of class. VQ-35 motor in the Z lasts a long time with proper maintenance. Many of my customers have 150,000 miles with out a motor repair. 2003 cars 6 years old now. Some of my customers 1997 Maxima’s have 400,000 or miles on them. Good Luck

A: Why is louder better? If you are so immature as to think it’s big to have a noisy exhaust system then you really shouldn’t be allowed on the road.

Q: What are the speaker sizes for a 2004 350z?
I need to know the speaker sizes for a 2004 nissan 350z. Im replacing all of the speakers and deck and just need to know the sizes. and does anyone recommend a certain brand of speakers? thanks for your time!

A: Try crutchfield.com. They sell stereos etc. and have accurate fittment guides for most if not all cars. They also have nice equip. for decent prices if you decide to buy from them. I would go to a stereo shop and listen to the speakers yourself before buying them. My favorite might be your least people tend to have different tastes and you are going to have to live with them every day.

Q: How much should rims and tires for nissan 350z cost?
i have a 05 350z and would like to get some new rims and tire. just wondering if i can get them under $2000?

A: Depends on what you use your car for just to run around or take to the race track and really stress the machine. Forged rims are best for your car but are more expensive. Volk Racing, RUFF Racing RAY’s Alloys BBS and any quality wheel 4 of them can cost over $3,000 then about $1,500 in tires. Just remember those 4 small patches of rubber is all you have at over 100 miles an hour for control and handling. Style rims that you drive just back and forth to work don’t have to cost that much and you can get by with less expensive tires just remember your car uses staggered tire sizes and the ratio of front to rear rotations has to be the same or your traction control and anti lock brakes will not function properly. Q: what is the top speed for a nissan 350z?
I was talking to a friend the other day, and he claimed his stock 350z could top 200, and i was wondering if that is possible, ps its a 2007.

A: My 350z 2005 edition, has done 172mph and I’m pretty sure I could have squeezed a little bit more out of it, but was already going messy pants fast enough to want to try. It is stock, but here in Japan, the limiters are not set as high as they are in the US. I doubt your friend had 200mph out of it unless he was going downhill, in a straight line, with nothing to slow him down.
Add on a turbo intake, T-exhaust, racing alloys, etc, etc, and you’ll get 200 without too much effort, some, but not difficult, but then again, that wouldn’t be stock.

As for the poster above who reckons the Z would ‘take-off’ at such a speed – it just makes me wonder if some people shouldn’t have a licence to use the internet when they make ridiculous comments like that!

Q: What is the BEST exhaust system for a 350Z performance wise?
I have a 2007 350Z with new Berk HFC’s so I wanted to drop in an exhaust. I wanted to know which exhaust is the best. I have heard alot of good things for Bissani but bad things about Borla and Greddy doesn’t have much performance so please help. Also, the exhaust I want has to be “true-dual”

Q: What would be a nice decent exhaust for the 350z?
im really considering gwttig a 2004-2003 Nissan 350z. i would like to put an exhaust system that is not too expencive but looks nice and have a fairly good growl or noice. I am still new to the 350z and new when it comes to the customization of cars. so any help and advice/tips on any good exhaust for the 350z would really be appreciated. price on exhaust and info on it would good too. much thanks!!!

Q: How poor is rear visibility on a 350z?
I’m looking into purchasing a sports/luxury car and have settled on a used 350z, however I keep hearing reviews about the 350z having poor rear visibility. I know I probably should go for a road test to figure out how bad it is myself, but I was just wondering before I go how bad it really is. Also I’m a bit on the short side (5′6), is the car accommodating for shorter drivers?

A: I have been driving my 350Z for 4 years now, and I still love the car, the rear view is fine, you get used to it after the first month just like any car. The bar blocking the view actually has an advantage of blocking out the bright head lights from tall trucks !
