Q: Toyota Venza or Toyota RAV4?
Which one and why???
A: The Venza is built on the Camry chassis and has been dubbed the Camry Wagon. It is well thought out, rides much like the Camry, and overall has a more car like feel and handling. The RAV4 is built on a slightly beefed up Corolla chassis and won’t have quite the ride as the Venza, will sit higher like an SUV, and has slightly better off road capabilities. Neither of these cars are true off road vehicles – for that you must go up to a Forerunner. Passenger comfort goes to the Venza, but overall usefulness goes to the RAV4. It is a difficult choice and boils down to how you are going to use the vehicle. Both are well tested with tried and true components throughout. And both are more that adequate with the V-6. No problem with the 4 cylinder either. It just works a little harder.
Q: QUESTION ABOUT TOYOTA VENZA 2009?
I JUST WANTED TO ASK IF THE $33,500 PRICE FOR THE LIMITED EDITION IS FAIR ENOUGH. V6 AWD, THE ONLY THING NOT INCLUDED IN THE PACKAGE IS THE NAVIGATION SYTEM AND SUN ROOF WHICH I THINK I DON’T NEED. ALL OTHER STUFF ARE INCLUDED…. I HOPE I CAN GET YOUR OPENION ASAP… THANKS
ADD: TAX IS NOT INCLUDED WITH $33,500.00… I’ M FROM NEW JERSEY
A: I would have to say you should go with a ford edge. Right now there’s 3,000 cash back and you can get one with all the same stuff (V6, AWD) and even a few more amenities. Leather seats, heated seats, satellite radio (with 6 free months), 9 premium sony speakers, 18 inch chrome wheels, sync (with free 911 assist and vehicle diagnostics), cabin air filter, and Ford’s Advance-trac with roll stability control. All that for $31,925. The edge also has tons of awards to back it up. It is an IIHS top safety pick, the 3.5L V6 was named one of the 10 best engines in the world by ward’s automobile magazine, and it won J.D. Power’s APEAL award. So spending and extra 2000 bucks for a ho-hum car (and that ugly interior) doesn’t make sense.
Q: Venza Garage door opener Manual?
Hi, I want to know how to use the Venza garage door opener, however my Venza manual is missing, so I was wondering for those Venza owners or anyone who knows how to use Venza garage door opener please tell me how to program the garage door opener on Toyota Venza!
thanks!
A: If it is a Homelink system, do as follows.
First, hold in the two outside buttons. The indicator light will flash slowly, then go out. This means it has cleared the memory.
Second, take one of your garage door remotes in the car. At the same time, push and hold the button on the remote control AND the button inside the car you wish to program. The indicator light will flash slowly for 20-30 seconds, then will flash rapidly. This indicates the car has learned the code.
Finally, find the programming button on the opener itself. It should be under one of the light covers. Push and release it. The indicator on the opener will stay on.
Within 30 seconds, go to the car, and push the button you just programmed. If your opener is Chamberlain-made (Chamberlain, Sears, Liftmaster), the lights on the opener will flash on and off once. This indicates it has learned the remote.
If you have a Genie opener, push the button twice inside the car twice.
Now try it to make sure it works.
KEEP IN MIND- when you’re in the process of programming the car, the door will travel up or down every time you push your remote control. Keep people away from the door.
Q: I found a toyota key fob/remote how can I find the owner?
It looks like this:
http://static.howstuffworks.com/gif/vehicle-pictures/2009/toyota/venza/5871-147-key-fob-480.jpg How can I find the owner? If I give Toyota the serial number, can they tell me who owns it? I know these suckers are expensive….
A: Take it to a Toyota dealership. They can look up the serial number and get in contact with the current owner. It is very unlikely that Toyota would give out an owner’s personal contact information to a stranger.
Q: How much do you advice to buy these cars?
1. Toyota Rav4 ‘08
2. Toyota Highlander ‘08
3. Toyota Venza ‘09
Assuming you have $2000 down and a fairly good credit. In other words, how much will you finance and not feel cheated. Or how much will you buy cash and not feel cheated.
Thanks for your advice
A: you need to first research kbb.com to see the blue book on the 08 models and the 09 Venza, negotiate, negotiate! Dealers are looking to sell, sell right now…it’s the buyer’s market.
with regards to some unbiased advice, i found a good website that hits on private financing or dealer financing and some negotiation tips. check it out, hope it helps!
Q: Any feedback on the following cars for a college student?
Honda Crosstour
Toyota Venza
Ford Focus/Escape/Edge
How reasonable are some or all of these cars in terms of transportation between home and school. Approx. 200 miles to travel and on graded roads. Needs to be able to handle snowy weather at school also. Thanks!
A: I have a four wheel drive Honda.
Its a dream in the snow.
Q: What is the best affordable Toyota car for a teen?
I looked specifically at the Prius, Yaris, and Venza. I know there are a few others. It has to be sedan. Not a van, truck, jeep, or convertible.
I’ve been looking at the Venza. The car looks neat and spacious. The classification for the car is unique. Larger than a sedan, yet smaller than a van. Is the car good with handling?
A: There’s also the iQ (a smartCar competitor), but don’t know if it’s imported in the US…
Q: What are some good cars that are coming out this year or next year that apear like a decent car to buy?
Well I was looking to buy a Toyota Venza because it looks very sleek and I like its design. Any other suggestions on what car to buy cant be over $35,000
A: Ford Edge is a solid buy.
Q: When does toyota make their 2010 cars avalible to purchase?
My sister is looking to purchase a 2010 Venza and I wasn’t able to find out when. Thanks for the help!
A: I not sure exactly when Toyota makes their cars available for purchase. Typically, most car makers begin making the new model year available sometime in the fall of the previous year. So, for the 2010s, this would be in the fall of 2009. If you want a more actual date, I would talk to someone at a local Toyota dealership.

A: buy a vehicle that you can pay cash for, getting into debt with a car payment bytes, unless you make 2g’s a week
Q: What is the worst looking Toyota car?
I want the 2011’s and the 2010’s
Personally
Ugly- 4Runner
Nice-Venza
How about the Avalon?
A: I really don’t like the 4Runner or Prius. I like the Camry, Avalon, Tundra, Venza, Sienna, not too crazy about the Yaris or Corolla, unless they are tinted. I think a new Camry or Avalon with 20% all around look awesome. Has anyone seen a thumbs down? lol
Q: what happens if you put on automatic car into park while going 10km per hour forward?
I was driving my 2010 toyota Venza and (being a complete idiot) put it into park while almost stopped. usually when going high speeds, you are not allowed to move the shift but i was able to do this at this time. I heard a noise but i was stopped in about 1 second after the noise started. I was wondering if there is any damage at all?
PS: the car is my dad’s so if there is any problems, i am sooooo dead
A: Well, its hard to say if you broke anything. Take it for a drive, no radio and listen closely to the transmission. Does it go through all the gears (including reverse) without making any noise? Then take it to sloped parking area, and put it in park while pointed downhill. With the engine off does it roll? Now repark it facing uphill. Again does it roll down hill? Stay in the car for those tests with your foot ready to go on the brake.
If you’re lucky nothing is broken.
Q: Which one of these cars would you pick?
Mercedes GLK 350, The Chevy Equinox v6 with all weel drive, or the Toyota Venza v6 with all wheel drive.
A: Mercedes or the Chevy
Q: Does Toyota plan on putting better quality padding and plastics inside their vehicles?
While browsing several models of Toyota, (Camry, Corolla, Venza, Sienna, and others) I notices a dramatic drop in interior quality as compared to the nineties Toyota models. I don’t see this same cheapness of interior in other cars except for the funny shaped Toyotas and Hondas. Can it be that American car companies are now respecting their customers by creating a decent interior instead of the classic cheap Toyota look, which consists primarily of paper thin plastic spray painted with cheap silver paint to make it look like metal? After browsing all the Toyotas I felt insulted. How stupid do they think I am?
A: No….because of this recall Toyota will now get very serious about how they construct their vehicles especially their safety.
Technically like someone else said…GM’s interior are still cheap…Yes thats true.
GM’s interior gets scratched very easily, Chevy, Buick (their wood trim is horrible). This is actually frustrating to car owners.
Toyota, Honda, Nissan & Ford have strong interior.
American car companies especially Chevy have watched Japanese car companies very carefully…because of this, they carefully were able to spot what people preferred in their cars….
No American car companies just want them to buy their cars….despite all that…remember they asked government for money. You as Taxpayer are losing extra even if you’re not driving an American car. Customer care has nothing to do with decent interior.
Q: Libs, do you call Cash For Clunkers a success because they spent the Taxpayers’ money so quickly?
Is that the way you have been conditioned?
I took One Term Barry’s $4,600 myself and have a brand now 2009 Toyota Venza AWD wagon sitting in my driveway that I bought yesterday.
But the Cash For Clunkers is still a boondoggle.
Sure if you hand people thousands of dollars of free money they will take it.
That does not make it a good idea, or a ’success’
Who’s Barry?
LMAO
A: No. Just because it is popular doesn’t mean it’s doing what it is meant to do. It is supposed to get people to change out their gas-guzzlers for more efficient cars. Its real purpose is to prop up Chrysler and GM for a while so that when they finally collapse and go out of business, it will have been far enough into the future so that it can’t be blamed on anyone in the present administration.
