A: Don’t listen to those misinformed eco-freaks. Their hybrids pose a much greater risk to the environment with their huge 600 volt battery packs that are considered hazardous waste when they are eventually disposed of. As for your question, there isn’t a faster version of the H2 from the factory but you have some after market options. You could have a supercharger installed for arround $6,000 or for about $30,000 you could have a full diesel conversion done which would make it WAY faster and it would get 25+ MPG…huh…you like? LoL hope you get your H2, I love my H3.

A: depends on weather it’s an auto or maual, terrain, and wind. however you shouldn’t be towing with a hummer anyway they don’t pull worth **** that and depending on what the boat weighs and how many axles you have could be over weight if you’re towing it on the interstate and in that case weather you like it or not you HAVE to stop and weigh at every chicken coop. consult your owners manual and see what max gvw, and gtw is and if that tranny can take it. it should be able to but it never hurts to look. also you shouldn’t be towing a 25ft boat with a hummer anyway. that’s a job for a pickup. and well if you had a diesel pickup you’d still be getting at least 14-15 mpgs highway. so yea should’ve considered gas milage before getting the boat. however if you can afford a hummer and a 25ft boat gas milage shouldn’t matter because you can afford it.

A: It’s very powerful. I am not up-to-date yet on the exact specs, but my father works for GM and I’ve asked him this same question and he tells me he hasn’t seen an enigme more powerful that isn’t diesel.

A: I’m not sure if you mean a new factory upgrade or an aftermarket. If you want aftermarket go with the pioneer AVIC-Z1. it has a 30 gig hard drive for navigation(no nav disc) and for storing your favorite music.can do blue tooth hands free, direct I-pod interface, satellite radio with traffic nav, back up camera, voice activated controls,and plays DVDs. with the right adapters you can retain bose, on star and steering wheel controls.

A: No. Not with me, but, I work for GM so it wouldn’t be too hard to get. Most color options for leather are black or charcoal as they may call it, tan or cream or something light colored and leather with a different color insert. If you have a Hummer dealership near by just give them a call or stop by and grabbed a brochure. You can also find them on Hummer.com.

A: You should’ve known saying you own an H2 that flak was going to come your way. That aside…
Don’t waste the money on a set of spinners, unless you want to give the impression you have more money than sense.
If you have to “modify” or customize it, add some tasteful ground effects or something along those lines. It doesn’t necessarily have to look like an eyesore in order to gain attention or compliments. Make it appear you actually put forth some effort & thinking. The sharpest vehicles have a coordinated look to them & not overdone. Any idiot can spend a few thousand bucks & slap crap on their vehicle to gain attention. But do you want the attention to be positive or negative? For instance, I’ve seen spinners on an old Pontiac Sunfire that was in severe need of bodywork & paint. I’m sure your H2 is sound chassis- & body-wise, but you get the idea.
If you’ve ever watched “Overhaulin’”, notice that Chip Foose will draw the vehicle & then determine what to modify/customize. It makes it easier to visualize the final product. If you can draw reasonably well, try it with different ideas. I’m in the process of “restifying” a ‘73 Charger & this has assisted me in having a better idea of where I want to take it.

First, even if it was possible to make a car bulletproof extremely weighs down the vehicle by thousands of pounds. Which will drastically cut down the fuel economy. It would require a very large diesel engine to power such a large bulletproof vehicle. A hybrid engine just would not cut it.

The cost would be more than the vehicle would be worth, and would probably destroy the value of the car in the first place.

One other thing, H2 Hummers are not real Hummers. They are nothing compared to what the military uses. The H2 is simply a dressed up Chevy Suburban with a different bodystyle. It cant do anything that the military version can.
