Q: best year to buy a used Jeep Grand Cherokee?Which year from 2000-2006?
Im 17 and need a used car.. thanks!

A: anything from 02-04 would be a good choice, try and find one with low miles on it,there’s a lot of them around,so finding a low mileage one isn’t that hard, but they are good vehicles, and give very little problems, good luck on it.

Q: What would you say the average price is for a used Jeep Wrangler?

A: Check the value on kbb.com and nadaguides.com and edmunds.com.

Q: Can E85 be used in Jeep Wranglers without adverse effects?
I was wondering becasue it is almost a dollar cheaper….I’ve heard its a bad idea, but I just wanted to get a general consensus. Its a 99 TJ.

A: Nope. E85 has a high octane rating. You could convert your jeep to run on E85, but you wouldnt be saving any money. While E85 is cheaper, the mpg would drop. By running E85 the mpg would drop by about 8mpg. So if you have the 2.5 4 cyl, your 18/20mpg would drop to 10/12mpg. It wouldnt be worth converting to run it.

Q: What’s the best way to tear someone in half using two jeeps and two ropes?
where would you tie the ropes? The wrists and ankles would not work, correct?
it’s for a book. I am not a serial killer.

A: Im not going to help you with that. Thats kind of sick.

I also like autotrader and KBB and ebay

You can find a cheap jeep that somone used to off road with, but be careful with these because they have been pushed to the limit in many cases. Alot of times someone will sell there dailt driver on there and they sell them cheap because they like to help out other jeepers.

Q: I am looking to buy a used Jeep, how many miles is too many?
i.e. I am looking at one that has 155k. Its a 98 hard top, 4cyl. looks like its in pretty good shape and the price seems alright but the mileage really scare me.

A: It is a little scary. I’d take it to a good mechanic and have him check the compression and just go over it really well before I bought it.

Q: Would like to buy a used Jeep in good condition. I live in north eastern, north carolina?

A: Try ebay its best

well amazon.com might also do.

Q: Where can I buy a good quality used Jeep in Colorado?
I already know about Craigslist.

A: Try a dealer that sells new jeeps. They usually have some good used trades.

Q: bought a used jeep laredo 1998,I noticed when driving over 40 mps the suv starts shaking really bad?

A: There are several different reasons it might wobble and those vehicles are known to wobble some what from what I know about them and from what owners say about them too.

Since the vehicle is used I’d want to make sure that the tires are all good , plus the air pressure in them is correct, also that the tires and properly balanced.

A good tire shop could check the the tires and check the air pressure etc, plus they could balance the tires probably for under 50 bucks all in all but I’d want the front end and full suspension check on it some shops do offer free front end checks etc.I’d also want a shop to perform a free full brake inspection on it bec a damaged or bent etc rotor or faulty brakes can cause wobbling too.

Hope that helps and best of luck.By the way it’s a good time also to flush out the oil , the coolant system and under coat the vehicle as well as fully lubricate the front end etc, plus changing the transmission fluid and filter on it would be a good idea too, especially once you know that the brakes, front end , all 4 tires and wheels are properly inflated and balanced and that the tires are good on it etc get a 4 wheel alignment done it.
